Let's face it, copying and pasting files is a pain in the neck.  It's a great way to get a quick copy of a file or folder before you make a major change, but you can end up with lots of copies of the same thing, all cluttering up your disk.  It's also easy to make an error and copy something to the wrong place.

Well, BackForth is a low-cost piece of software that solves all of this at a stroke.  You can tell it the files and folders you want to backup.  This information can be saved as a "scheme".  Once that's done, you can happily make copy after copy whenever you need to, with just a quick click of the mouse.

And because you can give each copy a name, this makes it possible to use BackForth as a simple "version control" software.  This is great if you're - for instance - developing a database.  You can create a scheme containing all the database files, then make a backup of each version (with a quick click) as you go along.  Then you can always get back to any version at any point in time, with no fuss!

You can create multiple "schemes" or projects and select any of these to backup or restore.

It works for all types of file and it compresses the backups into a zipped format, to save disk space.

All in all, BackForth is so quick, easy and efficient that we at Tarragon Consultancy decided to buy the rights!  We think, at just £12 per copy, you will consider it a "Must Have" utility.  That's why we're offering a FREE 15-use trial, so you can check it out for yourself.  You can also find out more about BackForth on our product microsite http://www.backforth.com.

Enjoy using it!
